SUCCESS STORIES

FM Bonaire is the hospital in Bonaire, which was completely rebuilt on 2010. A complete new network infrastructure was put in place over several islands. On the main location, we implemented a private cloud solution based on NetApp storage, with 3 different virtually separated networks for patients, specialists, and the main office. The project has been so successful that the FM IT team is able to manage the whole network -more than 300 users and over 20 virtual servers- by themselves with minimum support from Infotrans.

Infotrans renewed their complete ICT infrastructure (cabling, servers, storage, switching, firewalling, wireless, and PBX). Infotrans has designed the network based on a FlexPod Express solution of Cisco, NetApp, Microsoft Windows 2012 and Hyper-V, in combination with MS Exchange 2013. The hospital has 200 users and 20 servers, and also has an offsite DR with NetApp storage where all data and VM’s are replicated to on a storage level. Infotrans also closed a contract for maintaining and managing the complete solution with N-Able for 5 years in a fully managed lease agreement. Infotrans also implemented an Ayaya VOIP system and the video conferencing solution Avaya Redvision Scopia, Microsoft SharePoint 2013, and FortiGate firewall (active redundant).

For years, Infotrans has been the #1 supplier for MCB for a series of ICT products and services. Redundant NetApp storage, switching, computers, printers and supplies are part of a day to day supply chain with MCB.

Assuria is an insurance company with its headquarters in Suriname and offices in Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad, and Saint Maarten. Assuria has around 500 users in total.Infotrans is the IT infrastructure partner for the company group. Hosts, storage and backup are solutions provided to increase of availability, performance and continuity. Also a WIFI solution was implemented at all Suriname branches to increase availability. Vendors involved are Cisco, Cisco Meraki, NetApp, VMware, Lenovo.

BNETS is handling the traffic between the POS systems and ATMS of all the banks in Suriname. Infotrans worked on transforming the network infrastructure to a higher available network. Currently, Infotrans is in the process of designing the BNETS office network in higher availability, as well as planning improvements needed for the server infrastructure. Brands included Cisco, VMware, and Veeam.

Finabank is the fourth largest bank in Suriname with ATM’s and branch offices spread across Suriname. Finabank has around 250 users in total. Infotrans designed and implemented the server, storage, network and voice infrastructure and is currently managing the delivered infrastructure. Also remote monitoring and management tooling for the complete environment has been implemented and the bank has been migrated to O365. All of these activities resulted in improvement of performance, availability, security, reliability and manageability. Vendors included are VMware, Cisco, NetApp, Microsoft, Fortinet, Redsocks, Avaya and Prowise.
